Our Aesthetic Recommendations
At Advanced Eye Physician, we’re not only here to help you see your best but also look your best and feel your best. We like to advocate strongly for skin health and protection. We also believe that one feels good if one looks good. Tending to one’s aesthetics does not just have to be about pleasing others! Caring for yourself and elongating your natural beauty can boost self-esteem and self-confidance, thus having a positive effect on all other aespects of life.
Skin Rejuvenation
The texture of your skin changes as you age—and not always for the better. While many people do not mind the occasional wrinkle or freckle, other changes like scarring and cellulite can cause embarrassment and unhappiness. Skin rejuvenation can help control and correct these issues, revealing smoother and younger skin beneath them. To completely rejuvenate and revitalize your skin, we recommend Photofractional treatment which treats skin tone and texture all at once.
Sun Protection
Shielding your skin from the sun’s UVA and UVB rays significantly helps maintain an even skin tone, prevents premature aging of skin, and reduces your risk of skin cancer. UVB exposure causes redness or burning, while UVA exposure causes skin darkening/pigmentation. For protection from both UVA and UVB, the sun screen you’re using need to provide Broad Spectrum protection. High-quality sunscreens need to come with a high SPF (sun protection factor). Using SPF products before and after IPL (also, on a dailty basis) is incredibly important to protect your skin’s health.
We would also like to recommend choosing Mineral over the usual Chemical sunscreens.
Mineral Sunscreens consist of either Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide. They are safe for your skin. They are the only two ingredients that are officially recognized as safe and effective by the FDA in sunscreens as of 2019. While chemicals absorb the sun, minerals reflect it. Not only that minerals are much better for those with sensitive skin. And of course, you will feel great knowing that mineral sunscreens are reef safe and better for the earth.
So, the next time you buy sunscreen, make sure to check for Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide listed under its ‘Active Ingredients’!

Our Aesthetic Procedures
IPL Acne Solution
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, which flashes powerful bursts of light onto the skin to eliminate acne and other blemishes. Results may begin to appear after just one session, though many patients choose to have several.
Standard IPL sessions take only 20 minutes or so, and many people find the process comfortable and relaxing.
IPL Photorejuvenation
IPL technology can do more than simply blast away blemishes. It can also encourage new collagen fibers to grow, making your skin noticeably smoother and tighter.
Just like IPL for acne, most treatments are 20 to 30 minutes long. Many people sign up for 3 to 6 treatments to achieve the results they want, spaced about one month apart.
ResurFX
This special non-ablative laser treatment offers a less-invasive way to promote the development of collagen than other laser resurfacing tools. It can be used to reduce age spots, wrinkles, loose skin, discoloration, and even acne scars.
Many people choose ResurFX because it offers shorter recovery times and less risk than comparable procedures.
Photofractional (ResurFX + IPL)
This complete skin rejuvenation solution combines ResurFX with IPL treatments to treat skin tone and texture all at once. The dual nature of this treatment allows it to produce desirable results in a single office visit, making it one of our best and most sought-after treatments.
